In Wingless April has a thing for the Disney castles. She’s been to Disneyland, but not Disney World. She’d love to go.
Me? I want to go eo Disneyland one more time. My favorite restaurant is there, the Blue Bayou. Also, I want to go to Japan and meet Tite Kubo, manga author and artist. I want to see the cherry blossoms in the spring, a Tao drum show, and fan dance.
I’d also like to go to North Carolina, because that is where my Cherokee blood is from. Scotland, because I want so much to see a castle, and I’m Scottish. And New Orleans, just because.

I can’t possibly pick just one! I’ve been lucky enough to go to Australia and I loved it SOOO much that I’m dying to go back! I’ve been lucky enough to go to Turkey and I loved it SOOO much that I’m dying to go back! But then I tell myself, That’s silly, check off those places and go somewhere new; there’s a whole world out there to see! At this point, my dream destinations are, in order of how much I’m longing to go; (1)Morocco, (2)Greece, and (3)Ireland. Also, it’s kind of funny that I’ve been to places on the other side of the world but I’ve never been to the places “in my own backyard” so to speak, where lots of Americans go all the time. I’ve never been to Hawaii, or even the Grand Canyon. So those are on my list as well. Oh, also an Alaskan cruise. And I could go on. And on. Travel is, I think, the great passion of my life! 🙂
I’d also put Egypt high on my list, maybe even right between Greece and Ireland, bumping Ireland to #4. But the situation’s so volatile there that I’m not sure it’ll be a safe destination for Americans ever again in our lifetime…which makes me really, really sad 😦
Oh! I also have to mention Russia, because I’m Russian Orthodox and I really want to see and worship in the great cathedrals there; and Honduras, because I sponsor a little girl there and I want to meet her. No, make that I WILL meet her, at some point! She’s only 4 so I have time! 🙂 Okay I’m done now. You can see, travel is a subject I can talk about for days!!!
Hmmm . . . my dream vacation would be a loooong one. lol I’m not sure where I’d like to go: Spain, because I love Spanish and I’ve been told my a travel bug that it’s everything you expect France to be (but France isn’t); or Korea, because it’s such a big part of Vern’s heart; or the Phillipines, because it’s tropical and so inexpensive; or Scotland because I’m a Campbell ;); or England because I’d love to walk through all of the old, old houses that are open to the public as part of the National Register; or France, because I can’t track down those darn Masson ancestors of mine from here!
We just fortunately had our dream vacation in Portugal after not going for 11 years!!! We just wish we could afford to go every summer and have enough vacation time off at work to do so!

Kyra, I think you covered every place I missed 🙂 I can’t wait to travel one day.
I would love to go to Russia…. And Paris. Maybe I’ll skip all that and go to Atlantis 😀
